Surprisingly, this hat does NOT involved stranded knitting! It is just stripes and slipped stitches, but the outcome is awesome. The pattern (linked below) is for a cowl, but I adapted it to work for a hat, and one day would like to adapt it for fingerless mitts!

• The Brain Frieze pattern by Susan Ashcroft
• Size US 8 needles
• Patons North America Classic Wool Worsted from Wisconsin Craft Market
