Green Apple Pie Hat

This was my first project using the yarn that I had dyed myself, and I’m very pleased with how the ombré/gradient look came out! The Cat and Crow has an open dye day at the end of June, and I definitely see more gradients in my future.

At first I found all the cables very intimidating, but once I got into the swing of things, they weren’t so bad. By the end of it, I didn’t even have to look up the definition each time I came across another acronym: C4F, C4B, T4F, T4B.

If you’d like to knit one for yourself, the hat was knit from Tin Can Knits’ Apple Pie pattern, with worsted weight yarn, and size 8 needles.

If you’d like to purchase the one that I knit, check it out on my Etsy page!
