My third adult sweater is now complete–and I love it!

It was made with 1,033 yards of fingering weight yarn (from top to bottom: Knitted Wit Victory Sock, Manos del Uruguay Alegría, and 2 colorways of Madelinetosh Tosh Merino Light). Prior to this project, my experience with fingering weight yarn was limited to Christmas ornaments, a pair of socks, and the shawl that took forever. Therefore, I was a little bit nervous about embarking on a sweater journey with it (check out some blog posts on that here and here).
But I am happy to say, that it was an overall positive experience! There was no ripping out of entire sweater bodies or anything horrible like that. And yes, it did take me over 3 months to complete, but it was great summer knitting since it was such teeny yarn (and no offense to cotton washcloths, but I’m kind of over them).
