This was my first big project. Prior to this, I had been mostly knitting one skein projects, and this one felt like a much bigger endeavor, and was certainly much more yardage–I think it was also my first time knitting stripes and carrying the yarn up the side of the work.

It was made with 4 luxurious balls of alpaca (The Baby Alpaca from We Are Knitters) that was a gift from my wonderful boyfriend, Dan. It’s super soft, and now belongs to my fellow knitter, Grammy!

This shawl was also the first time I ever knit in a bar. lol.
