I made these cute little ornaments for some of my fellow knitters a couple of Christmases ago. I got the idea from this website, and it ended up being super easy and fun–with a great result AND a good use of scrap yarn!

I used glue to attach those little brown beads to the shish kabobs that I broke in half to use as the needles. However, unlike the original poster, I didn’t use any glue on the yarn. Instead, I tucked the start of the yarn underneath that little cap and into the inside of the ball. Then I wrapped until my heart’s content and then just “weaved in the ends.” 🙂
